Inauguration of plant!
New Wire Rod and Bar Mill at Plot No. 164-C, sector III Pithampur, Dist. Dhar of Mittal Corp Limited was inaugurated on 10th March 2013. The Mill was inaugurated by Mr. Damir Mezulic, chairman of the board, Danieli India Limited.
Danieli Morgardshamme are the world leader in Rolling Mill equipment, plant and machinery, and rely on the experience of over 150 years of Morgarshammer Sweden and innovations done at Danieli Italy to produce customized mill.
Inauguration of plant
- Reheating furnace with moving hearth for uniform heating and low scale formation, with input size of 160*160 mm billet.
- De- scaler before roughing stands to remove scale formed during reheating.
- Intermediate rolling on Horizontal- Vertical roll configuration to give better control during rolling due to no twist arrangement
- DELTA type ten stand wire rod block, from Morgardshammar with post rolling arrangement of Quenching Forced Colling as well as Retarded Colling to achieve grain size/ structure and mechanical properties for different grades.
- Level II automation for close industrial tolerance on dimension.
